Alberto Amar (Valencia, ES / Utrecht, NL) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans music, video art, and—most recently—painting. He studied architecture before dedicating himself fully to creation. Over the years he has released several albums and sound projects that continue to evolve, and since 2025 he has developed an intense pictorial practice that moves between abstraction and figuration.

Painting arrived as a form of active meditation: a way of giving form to images and intuitions that surface in states of reverie. Working mainly in oil and mixed media on paper or canvas, his series explore time, matter, and the subconscious—intertwining symbolism and philosophical reflection.
